Riane Eisler's Cultural Transformation theory

Hanks' Partnership Model of Family Organization (PMFO) is a specific and practical application of cultural transformation theory to the day-to-day life of families.

What is Cultural Transformation Theory?

CTT is a theory of social organization based on Eisler's study of history and pre-history. Eisler, through archeological evidence, has theorized that societies orient toward one of two models on a spectrum: the dominator model (organized around hierarchical ranking maintained through fear and force, male dominated, institutionalized violence and exploitation of others) and the partnership model (hierarchies of actualization based on linking and connecting, caring is highly-valued, peaceful conflict resolution, equal valuing of masculine and feminine contributions)
